University of Pittsburgh at McKeesport. Dr. Makhoul returned to the Lehigh
Valley upon completion of his residency. Soon after returning to the area, he
completed his board certification in Family Practice. Dr. Makhoul's decision
to open his own practice evolved from his desire to have a close relationship
with his patients. Dr. Makhoul believes that preventive medicine is the best
way to protect his patients against diseases that could have been detected
earlier. This philosophy has been instrumental in shaping Dr. Makhoul's
success in his specialty.
